A very scenic rural walk from Santiago del Teide involving a moderate ascent, and taking in fine views of Valle de Arriba, Teide and the Teno mountains. The walk takes you to a shrine which marks the place where the flow of lava from the Chinyero eruption stopped in 1909.
This delightful circular walk is especially beautiful when the almond trees are in flower during January and February but provides marvellous all-round mountain views at any time of year.
Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours. Continue reading “(09) Almond Blossom Trail (Santiago del Teide)”
