Description
1-start-of-infierno-walk
A short but scenic walk in the pine forest above Barranco del Infierno following one of the old trails between Vilaflor/Ifonche and Adeje/Taucho. Great views of the Barranco del Infierno and surrounding mountains. Some interesting diversions on what is otherwise a “there and back” walk. Firstly, on the outward section, a diversion takes us to an old threshing circle (Era) overlooking the Barranco and the southern coastal resorts of Playa Paraiso/Callao Salvaje. At the furthest point the walk departs from the path to get good views from the west side of the ravine. On the return leg the path diverts to an alternate route home, overlooking the stunning Barranco del Agua, before passing through a extensively terraced agricultural area.
